Jason's Favorite Photos of 2019 - 1

This season I thought we would start Jason's favorite photos of 2019 series with one of my favorite black and white photos of the year. If anyone is new to the blog, I try to take my favorite photos from the past year and present them to you week-by-week. Along with the photos, I give you just a glimpse of the story behind them and the reasoning/insanity that is my artistic mind.

As for this Photograph it was one of the last pictures taken of both mother and daughter before mom walked down the aisle. I realized the color was distracting so I changed it the black and white to emphasize the warmth of the gray tones in their faces and to bring out the intricacies of both their hair and the lace that covered their dresses. Having the Outer Banks ocean and the OBX beaches being seen through the window does not hurt either. How does this photo make you feel? Leave a comment below!
