Whooh! I'ts been a hot couple of weeks here on the OBX beaches and it doesn't look like it's going to be getting any cooler in the foreseeable future. That's why we were all happy when a small cloud brought us some much needed and much appreciated rain about 30 minutes before Tiffany and Ben's ceremony. There's nothing like having it cool off a good 10 degrees just before your wedding to make you happy to say "I DO!" ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

When I was growing up, my family would take vacations to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I remember body surfing in the waves, fishing off the piers, and building sand castles. As my life has unfolded, I have found myself lucky enough to live on the OBX with my wife, Amy, raising our young son James in the sand.

When you book your OBX wedding, it’s one of the few times during your life when your whole family comes together to join one another in celebration. I am a wedding photographer at the beach... I specialize in the immortalizing the celebration, love and new beginnings that happen on your day. My fun and relaxing style adds to the energy of the day without taking away from the stars of the show.

I have been photographing since 2001, and there are few backdrops as beautiful as our Outer Banks beaches.
